Internet Explorer 8 Beta Experiment

So I took the plunge this morning after seeing on digg.com that Internet Explorer 8 Beta was available for download. It took about 15 minutes to complete the process, but I was also reading blogs, my analytics and checking out the NHL Playoff Race.
After the I restarted I clicked on the IE icon on the desktop and thought to myself nothing has really changed. One thing I did notice though was an Emulate IE7 button in the toolbar. Intrigued with this button I tested it out for about 30 minutes, just to check to see if it actually works. Behold f

The first of many for the Site of the Week. I decided for the first Site of the Week, I would talk about Spitball Cinema. This site was actually developed by a good buddy of mine and college roommate.
So what is Spitball Cinema. Well I'm sure you've probably figured out what it is but here is some more insight. Spitball Cinema is a new movie community where they post the latest news, box office results, trailers and write there own movie reviews. Firefox 3 Beta is out and it's SWEET! I installed it on my mac early yesterday and I'm loving it. It's blazing fast. Switching between tabs and page loads are remarkably faster than Firefox 2. It feels like I'm flying. It's even got a new design which feels squeaky clean, could it be because my google and web developer toolbar extensions are missing? That's the only downfall I've found so far, none of my extensions from Firefox 2 work in Firefox 3.
