Dairy Farmers of Canada

After being contacted about a .NET project gone horribly wrong, listening to the downfalls that the client had experienced implementing a .NET solution for the Dairy Farmers of Canada, I suggested that we rebuild the application using Ruby on Rails. In little time I had a workable, fast, reliable solution for the client. We ended up building Dairy Farmers of Canada a calendar application to handle, manage and schedule events within their organization.

TSOT Inc.

October 2006 myself and one other gentleman started the company TSOT, Inc which stands for "The System Of Things". TSOT peaked at 17 employees, five people on the marketing team and a 12 man development team which I lead for over a year. Our development team consisted of many Ruby on Rails developers, a PHP developer, two front end developers, a designer and a QA guy. The development teams job was to support and maintain FraternityLive and SororityLive.

FraternityLive & SororityLive

The first conception of FraternityLive and SororityLive came to be in 2004 when I built the first version in ASP. Shorlty after I started development of FraternityLive vr 2 in PHP. In October 2006 I began the complete re-engineering and redevelopment of FraternityLive and SororityLive using Ruby on Rails. January 28th, 2007 I launched FraternityLive and SororityLive in Ruby on Rails. The code launched on that day has been the backbone of FraternitLive and SororityLive up until this day in 2008.
